punch bowl embossed with putti holding ribbons of fruit, larger putti faces flanked by wings, shell capping's and
moulded plinth lip, raised on an ebonised plinth base, with presentation plaque, 'Great Britain and Commonweath
Coronation Cocktail competition, 1st Coronation trophy winner, V.J. McCarthy 1953, the punch bowl was won by
Victor McCarthy for his winning cocktail "Royal Victor" the competition was organised by the United Kingdom
bartenders guild to celebrate the queens accession to the throne, the winning cocktail the Royal Victor was named
after the Hotel he worked in called The Royal Hotel and his name Victor, together with the lot are photographs of
Victor behind a bar, with the punch bowl, also included newspaper cuttings and the winning drink details, the bowl
weighs 73.29oz, the bowl dimension 36cm wide, 25cm high.
