The medal is in very dark bronze and weighs 28.1g. as opposed to the normal 29g (approx). It has the appearance of a Type 1 Victory Medal. Naming is correct. Details are less marked than a Type 2 and the barrel & ring appear smaller. It may be just an ordinary Indian example but could be a rare 1st Type! Sold as seen, viewing recommended.
