An original carved tribal war club (possibly South Sea Island), circa 19th century, with several notches signifying the number of kills the club has performed, length 124cm approx., together with an early Gretna Green marriage certificate, dated 1797, relating to the marriage of Robert Thomas Wilson to Jemima Belford, size 13.3cm x 16cm approx., plus a leather bound volume by Robert Wilson, Recueil des Pieces et Documens Officiels, Relatifs, aux services civils et Militaires du General Anglais..., published Paris, 1822, 64pp., contemporary red gilt decorated morocco, 8vo. Sir Robert Thomas Wilson was a British general who served in Flanders, Egypt, and was seconded to the Imperial Russian Army in 1812.
