Burgess, one of 11 medals issued to those who accompanied Burgess on a boat alongside, this named to G.L.M. FACHE, who was a solicitor at Hare Court, Temple, London, and recipient of the Military Cross. His medal group was sold by Lawrences of Crewkerne, 14 Nov. 2013, lot 572. £50 - £70 1377 British Commemorative Medal, silver (with frosted finish) d.49mm: Samuel Fereday / A Friend to His Country, by P. Wyon, undated (1814), in a Birmingham hallmarked silver mount, glazed but missing front pane, toned nEF with some light scratches. £50 - £70 1378 British Commemorative Medal, silvered-bronze d.74mm: Coronation of George V 1911, a scarce issue by J. Fray of Birmingham, unlisted in Eimer; another example traced ex Baldwins marked 'bronze' below exergue, the present example not marked thus, but a coppery colour seems to show through at the high points of the moustache, and the King's thumbs on seated portrait, toned nEF (previous collector labelled this silver, therefore may warrant further inspection) £50 - £70 1379 British Exhibition Medal [BOX], turned resin with bronze plaques, d.74mm: An original box for a Great Exhibition 1851 Juror's Medal (see Eimer 1457) by Wyon and Adams, VF £40 - £50 1380 British Exhibition Medal, bronze d.45mm: Royal Jubilee Exhibition Manchester 1887 by Heaton, EF £40 - £50
