An interesting small archive belonging to Ada Mannall, photographer from Blaxhall, she was born in 1881, her parents ran the shop at Stone Common until 1917, she then moved to Ipswich and worked for Cowells the printers. She became interested in photography and was active in the Blaxhall area between 1906- 1917, specialising in the local area and military manoeuvres at Rendlesham Camp. The archive comprises, 2 hand- written lists and letter card, 39 contact prints of views, charabancs, family and local area; 13 contact prints of the Montgomeryshire and Hunstanton troop of the Norfolk Yeomanry with 4 postcard (each signed in her trade mark gold ink), hard-back edition of Beginner’s Guide to Photography signed by her to integral blank page, frames, printing paper, glass plates and other photo paraphernalia, a unique collection from one of the counties well known women photographers. £140 - £180 740 Suiceri (Joh. This was the final production to be staged at the Stoll Theatre in 1957, before it closed down.
