We are not sure whether bronze casts of German Lusitania medals can be contemporary or are definitely later reproductions. The number of original struck incorrect date '5 MAI' medals was very low. When correcting the mistake Goetz might have issued casts in higher numbers. There seems to be some question over this in the collecting world. £40 - £60 1191 Lusitania Medal, German corrected date version '7 MAI 1915' in cast bronze, not marked 'Goetz' on the edge, d.56mm, 59.2g, nEF.
