A2737, for William Williams & Son, (Outing 1544a), a few pinholes, ink annotations on reverse, ink stain, small edge nicks, aFine £40 - £60 1915 Wales Provincial note Salop & North Wales Bank, 5 Pounds dated 1st January 1841, series no. 6978, for Price, Jones & Edwards, (Outing 1962b), ink annotations and bankruptcy stamp on reverse, Fine £50 - £70 1916 Wales Provincial notes (2) Aberystwith & Tregaron Bank, Cardiganshire, 1 Pound dated 1813, for Evans, Jones, Davies & Co., (Outing 14b) both with piece missing top right, pinholes, ink annotations on reverse, VG £60 - £80 1917 Wales Provincial notes (5), Langharne Carmarthenshire Bank 1 Pound dated 1808, Aberystwith & Tregaron Bank 1 Pound dated 1813, Haverfordwest Bank 1 Pound dated 1819, Carmarthen Bank 5 Pounds (2) both dated 1828, these notes all damaged or heavily trimmed, Poor to Fair £60 - £80 1918 Wales (2), 1 Pound and 10 Shillings, first issue notes, these without the treasury stamp as they were declared illegal and overprinted 'Cancelled by order' in black, UNC and rarer type £25 - £40 1919 Wales (4), 10 Pounds first issue note stamped 21st March 1969, 10 Shillings (3) these second issue Black Sheep notes stamped 17th April 1969, all four notes without any cancellation overprinting and rarer as such, aUNC and UNC £30 - £50 1920 Wales (4), 10 Shillings, 1 Pound, 5 Pounds & 10 Pounds stamped 20th May 1969, Black Sheep Company, an interesting set with low serial numbers the 10 Shillings and 1 Pound with the same number, all with overprint 'cancelled 23rd May 1969' in red, aUNC & UNC £30 - £50 1921 Wales (4), 25 Pence (5 Shillings), 50 Pence (10 Shillings), 1 Pound & 2 Pounds stamped 14th December 1970, this being one set of a special issue of 100, issued to anticipate decimalisation and abolition of stamp duty on promissory notes, uncut from original sheets, aUNC/UNC and rare £100 - £150 1922 Wales (6), 5 Pounds (2) and 10 Pounds (2), these first issue notes stamped 21st March 1969, 10 Shillings (1) and 1 Pound (1), these second issue Black Sheep notes stamped 17th April 1969, all notes overprinted 'cancelled 29 April 1969', aUNC and UNC £40 - £60
