Ricasso marked '1903' & '8.06' (August 1906) 'EFD' (Enfield Maker) Pommel with Regimental Markings: 'L.N.L.' (Loyal North Lancs) 'C.T.' (Connaught Rangers) and '145.R.E.' (145 Army Troops). Lalter served at Loos, Ypres, Cambrai etc. In its steel mounted leather scabbard with internal chape. Grips good with some oil staining. Minor pitting to blade. Service wear but generally good condition. £80 - £90 905 Bayonet: Pattern 1907, Regimentally marked to the 222nd Field Company Royal Engineers. Pommel stamped 'T' (Territorial) '222 Co. R.E.' and '15'. Good blade with profuse markings to ricasso. In its steel mounted leather scabbard marked 'AC 1915'. Maker H. Chapman 1915. 222 Field Coy R.E. went to France on 15th January 1916 and were in action on 1.7.16. Battle of Albert. They served throughout the Somme and later at Arras and Ypres.
