Engraved stepped lock plate 'Brunton', with bolt safety lock on half cock, floral engraving to lock plate and hammer. Silver barrel pin plates ? and silver escutcheon with owners initials. Stock with twig like chequering but sides of the butt flattened, fully stocked. Originally bought for sea service. A fine collectors piece £700 - £900 1527 Flintlock Pistol by P. Bond of 45 Cornhill, London. Circa 1815 (officers belt pistol). 10" round barrel, no sight and fully stocked. Brass end to ram rod - original ? Lock fitted with anti friction roller on the tip of the frizzon spring and safety catch (bolt). Good finish to barrel. Bore .825.
