Spink Auction 238, 25 and 26 March 2015, lot 628, sold as seen, VF £150 - £250 1625 Charles I silver halfcrown Truro or Exeter Mint, mm. Rose, Brooker lists at 1027, Pl.XCVI a coin struck from these dies and at 1028-1029 coins struck from this obverse, the present coin is in high grade, the reverse being very central and all struck up, flan as produced, the coin illustrated in Spink at 3065 looks also to be from these dies, the only weakness on the present coin being on the obverse rose and a very small area at reverse 11 o'clock, GVF £700 - £800
