With short typed service history (not confirmed) Radfan he was with Anti Tank troop of 45 Commando (April '63 to May '64), Borneo based Batu Lintang as a Cpl in the Mortar Troop attached to "Charlie" Co 40 Commando. Northern Ireland 1969 with 45 Commando mainly in Flax Street Mill in the old Ardoyne. Falklands Support Co 40 Commando, 1st Commando Unit Ashore Jan 1980 to August 1982.
