1120 Charles I Civil War Seige Piece of Newark, silver
halfcrown, obverse:- Jewelled crown 12 and 11 pearls
either side of orb and extra pearls along the headband of
crown [6], OBS NEWARK 16[45], although worn on
last two digits the last is probably a '5', Spink 3140,
GF/NF £1200 - £1600

ninepence, struck from gilt-silver plate, wt.4.02g.,
obverse:- Jewelled crown, 10 pearls either side of orb and
4 extra pearls above crown band, 1646,
dies not in brooker, three angled paralleled lines at top
reverse, probably not plate decoration but deliberately
cut in, the yellow gilt still just visible, Spink 3144,
VF/NVF £1000 - £1400
1126 Charles I Civil War Seige Piece of Newark, silver shilling,
obverse:- Jewelled crown 10/? pearls either side of orb,
1645, dies not in Brooker, trace of
decoration under reverse design?, both dies slightly off
centre, Spink 3143, VF £1200 - £1600
