Athletics Memorabilia, a collection of 9 Official and
'Presse' medals and plaques belonging to Joe Binks, an
English runner who set a world record time of 4:16.8 for
the mile in 1902, a record which was not broken until
1922. Dating from between 1936 to 1956 these medals
include Berlin Olympics 1936 white metal pass, and a
large French silver L.R.B.A. plaque 1944, two of the
items are personally inscribed to Joe Binks.
