GB Lord Russell handsigned autograph envelope with

1837 postmark sent to Lady Lockwood at Tunbridge

Wells (she was sued for desertion by husband at about

this time). As a politician (City of London MP, and layer

Prime Minister) Russell was allowed to use 'Freepost' and

it was necessary to handsign envelope. Red wax

elaborate seal to reverse., small tear at top, rear flap

missing, but rare historical item.

original gum, a few of the lower values with very light

creases.

FREE postmark sent to Llanoigan Brecon. As a

politician (MP for Newport Isle of Wightand a cabinet

minister at the time, and later Prime Minister) Palmer

was allowed to use 'Freepost' and it was necessary to

hand sign. Rare historical item.
