Giles, framed and mounted pen and ink drawing depicting State Carriage,signed

u.r., together with a copy of the published illustration from the Daily Mail, May 14th

1963, caption reads 'There's a nasty story that a bit of a punch-up is going on

between the officers and grooms of the Royal Mews. Hey ho - off we go with the

State Carriage to pick up today's royal visitors'. Visible picture size H.27cm x

W.28cm.

Giles OBE 1916-1995 mounted and framed pen and ink original cartoon which

appeared in the 1953 Daily Express. “Caravan ? The Caravan came off hours ago.”.

Dedicated to Norman Freeman from Giles ’53. (Cartoon 52cm x 25cm). Vendor

states that the cartoon was presented to their Great Uncle Norman (Freeman) who

was Racing Manager for Dunlop Tyres at Brooklands Race Track. The scene is

probably somewhere in Ipswich, while the Land Rovers registration LRT140 is

thought to be that of Giles himself. Framed
