One of the few bodies recovered from this disastrous action, he now lies in CWGC Pozieres British Cemetery. Medals EF on original silk ribbons. Issued prior to WW1 probably to 2nd Bn. who were at Mons, Maine, Aisne, La Barrel, Nonne Broschen and 1st Ypres in 1914.
