Sear 5794, obverse reads:- M COMMODVS ANTONINVS AVG, Laureate bust right, reverse reads:- PROVI DEOR TR P VI IMP IIII COS II P P S C, Providentia standing left, holding wand over globe in right hand, sceptre in left, Sear 5794, VF £80 - £90 1682 Diva Faustina sestertius, reverse:- Juno, GF, with a ditto but Faustina Junior under Antoninus Pius, reverse:- Venus, GF and lastly a ditto but Faustina Junior under Marcus Aurelius, reverse:- Laetitia, GF [3] £45 - £55 1683 Domitian brass sestertius, Rome Mint 88-89 A.D., obverse:- IMP CAES DOMT AVG GERM COS XV CENS PER P P, reverse:- Jupiter seated left, holding Victory and long sceptre, legend:- [IOVI] VICTORI [SC], Sear 2766var [as illustration], with old ticket, obverse with ancient surface loss, GF/F £60 - £80 1684 Elagabalus silver denarius, Rome Mint 219 A.D., reverse:- Fides Militum, Sear 7511, rough surfaces, GF a ditto but of Geta as Caesar, Rome Mint 207 A.D.,reverse:- Minerva, Sear 7186, small ancient top chip, scuffs, GF, a ditto but Severus Alexander, reverse:- Aequitas, Antioch, AD 222, Sear 7856, VF, plus 2 others of Vespasian and Trajan, probably base cores of contemporary forgeries [5] £45 - £50 1685 English jettons, four derived from the coinage of the early Edwards, look to be all different and average VF together with the later type, struck on a larger flan and depicting a gentleman sat at his accounting board, slightly rusted surfaces but NVF [5] £70 - £80 1686 Faustina silver denarius, Rome Mint 141 A.D., reverse:- Juno, Sear - , obverse scuffed [possibly a core of a contemporary forgery], GF, ditto but of Septimus Severus, Rome Mint 200 A.D., Sear 6333, GVF, ditto but of Caracalla, Rome Mint 205 A.D., Sear 6859, scuffs GF and lastly a small bronze of Theodosius I, of Antioch, see Sear 20562, with a nice pen and ink ticket, NVF [4] £45 - £50 1687 Hadrian brass sestertius Rome Mint 128 A.D., obverse:- Laureate bust right, legend:- HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS P P, reverse:- Hilaritas standing left, holding long palm and cornucopiae, two children at her feet, Sear 3602, well centred, even black patina, NVF £100 - £150 1688 Hadrian brass sestertius, Rome Mint 119 A.D., Sear 3621, obverse:- Laureate bust right, drapery on left shoulder, legend:- [IMP CAE]SAR TRAIANVS HADRIANVS [AVG], reverse:- Jupiter seated left, holding Victory and long sceptre, legend:- PONT MAX TR POT COS III S C, a coin with much detail but surface deposit, hairline striking crack, obverse 8 o'clock, reverse with very light scuffs under magnification, NVF £80 - £120 1689 Hadrian brass sestertius, Rome Mint 123 A.D., obverse:- Laureate bust right, legend:- IMP CAESAR TRAIANVS HADRIANVS AVG P M TR P COS III, reverse:- Concordia standing left, holding standard in each hand, that surmounted by an eagle, legend:- CONCORDIA EXERCITVVM S C, slightly rough surfaces, black patina, Sear 3582, well centred, VF/NVF £150 - £200 1690 Hadrian silver denarius, Rome Mint 128 A.D., reverse:- Annona seated, Sear 3474 obverse very light scuffs, uneven tone, good metal, GF with a ditto but Antoninus Pius, Rome Mint 142 A.D., reverse:- Apollo, Sear 4051, GF and lastly a ditto but Septimius Severus, Rome Mint 207 A.D., reverse:- Severus togate, Sear 6393, harshly cleaned and scuffed, F/GF, all with old tickets [3] £50 - £60
