Rowlands, serial C62423 (TBB B214b, Pick9b) lovely crisp Uncirculated £350 - £400 293 Falkland Islands 50 Pence dated 20th February 1974, serial D69396 (TBB B215b, Pick10b) light dents in paper about Uncirculated £45 - £70 294 Falkland Islands (2), 1 Pound and 50 Pence dated 20th February 1974, portrait Queen Elizabeth II at right, (TBB B213b & 215b, Pick8b & 10b) the 1 Pound has a light horizontal crease, the 50 Pence Uncirculated £80 - £100 295 Fanning Island Plantations Ltd. 1 Pound Emergency Issue, during WW2 there was a shortage of Australian Dollars on the Island so these notes were printed to pay local labour, once the shortage abated they were collected and cut in half, with the halves then used as movie admission tickets. The halves usually have their corners clipped and are marked 1/- in blue crayon on the left half and 2/- in red crayon on the right half. There are a few complete notes know but these are exceptionally rare. this set of h £140 - £200
