1148 Knife: An interesting example of the controversial WSC 3 knife (Wilkinson Sword Company - Code 3 for W.S.Co.). The blade used is from an 1888/1903 Bayonet with an oversized 'Fat Boy' 2nd Pattern type knurling grip. Thick 'S' crossguard 3". D/E blade 7" with square ricasso marked 'W.S.C. 'over '3'. The reverse ricasso marked '61' over '1903'. The knurled grip is 5.25" long. The smooth pommel bears the number '30946' in very small figures. A number '40' has been stamped into the knurling of the grip. Rare £600 - £650 1149 Knives - Sheath Knife, blade 6" rusted in it's furry leather scabbard, horn grip. Small Sheath Knife with 3" blade, staghorn grip. Ricasso marked 'UMNI'? of German design, in its leather scabbard. Small German Hunting type Knife, blade stamped 'SOLINGEN'. Steel T/guard, an attractive Pistol overall £120 - £150 1161 Pistol - a good quality single shot percussion turn off barrel boxlock pistol. Round barrel approx. 50 cal, simply engraved side plates. Fluted walnut grips, sprung folding trigger. Action in good working order, nipple worn, barrel and frame marked '8"'. Looks to be of Belgian manufacture. A decent Pistol £100 - £120 1162 Pistol - an attractive over and under pinfine Derringer circa 1870, calibre approx .44. No licence required. Twisting barrels 3", sheath trigger chequered bag shaped walnut grips gwo and condition.
