Interesting and rare group to Alexander Barclay,
including cased CBE, BWM & Victory Medal 146193
Pnr A Barclay RE, Defence Medal, plus wife's Defence
Medal. Together with miniatures and boxes of issue. As a
Chemist he served in WW1 in the Special Gas Division,
after the war he was head of Chemistry and Photography
at the Science Museum. In WW2 he served with the
Department of 'Dirty Tricks' returning to the Science
Museum, he retired in 1959. Lived Queens Gate Place,
London. Much research.
