German WW2 - collection of medals, badges and a ring
relating to No 177802 SS Officer Karl-Otto Schlei
(NSDAP No 4137230). Lived 1913 to 1995
(Magdesburg). He served with reconnaissance unit of the
Wiking Division, he served as a Zugfuhrer then
5.Kompanie Chef of that divisions Reconnaissance
detachment. He is entitled to SA Sports Badge, Reichs
Sports Badge in Bronze, Iron Cross 1st Class, Iron Cross
2nd Class, Russian Front Medal and Infantry Assault
Badge (silver). Lot also includes his 'SS' silver ring
engraved inside to Schlei 21.6.41 H Himmler. Research
also notes that he was a financial contributor to
Lebensburn (maternity homes for the unwed mothers of
children fathered by SS men). This very interesting lot is
sold with much research.

German WW2 - collection to Otto-Friedrich Werner
Navy and later transferred to Luftwaffe Maritime
Reconnaissance 1935 and ended up as a Major in
1942/43 serving on Staff of the Commander of Maritime
Aviation Forces. The lot comes with much research,
copied photos, letters from fellow serviceman, etc etc.
Also noted are a 'Vestigium Leonis Kampfgeschwader
257' plaque named to 'Oblt. Werner 10.12.39 - 3.6.40'. A
Commemorative silver cup '1/K.G.26', and a Luftwaffe
side cap with silver band, and original Squadron badge.
Lot also includes a book "Achtung - Torpedoes los ! by
rudi Schmidt, which mentions Werner. Super lot.
