Blade marked 'B O' (with arrow stamp) indicating
acceptance by the Board of Ordinance. The makers
name 'WOOLLEY' marked to top of blade flat. Good
blade (rounding to tip). Steel stirrup guard. Grip, leather
on wood with losses. In a larger mismatched scabbard
(Jams in scabbard if pushed in).

fishskin grip, triple bar guard. In its leather field service

top quality sword.

King William Street City London' VR Cypher. Blade
35". Wirebound fish skin grip (minor losses to fish skin) 3
bar hilt painted gold grip, blue. In its black painted steel
scabbard. This is a decent sword and will be a good
restoration project.

quillion marked 'R.H. 356' with 'sold out of service'
marks. In its steel scabbard with two suspension rings.

Artillery' etched to blade. Serial number dates it to late
1872. Wirebound fish skin grip (some wear). In its black

example for its age.

blade 32.5". Brass guard with V.R. Cypher and folding
side guard. Complete with leather guard protection and
bullion knot. Blade etched 'V.R' (minor rust) Wirebound
fishskin grip (vgc). In its brass mounted leather scabbard.
(some stitching a/f) A sleeper which would greatly benefit
from a careful clean. Overall g.c.

scabbard. This sword is a 'sleeper' and will clean well.

cruciform hilt (carved by drummers since 1840. Pattern
standardised in 1856) Plain blade 18.5 dark patina, some
pitting, worn overall. Side of hilt marked '2. R.M..
89.10.92' (2nd Royal Marine Battalion Oct. 1882) No
scabbard. *Note this sword was recovered Portsmouth
harbour by a navy diver on a training drive.

Bowl marked '6.95 Y W K' (West Kent Yeomanry)
Inspection stamp for 1885,1889 and 1893. Overall in
good condition (lightly pitted). Leather grips secured by 5
rivets each. Scarce
