No 1 under heavy shell fire. His personal example,
devotion to duty and complete disregard of danger have
resulted in making his subsection do excellent shoots
under trying conditions. This was most note worthy
during the retreat from Jeancourt last March (21/3/18)
and in the advance from Ribemont to Ronnsoy in
