28th July 1918, buried Stockport Cemetery. He
transferred to the RFC as an Observer in May 1917,
returning to the UK as an Instructor later qualifying as a
Pilot. In July 1918 he was with 46 Training Depot at
South Carlton in Lincolnshire, he was flying with a pupil
when the planes engine developed a problem, causing it
to crash leaving Bellamy with fatal injuries. EF (1)
