Plus DSO bestowal document. DSO Citation reads 'For
conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. During an
attack he saw that the left of his battalion was being held
up be an enemy strong point. He immediately collected
six men, worked round the enemy's rear and captured
the strong point, together with two machine guns and 20
prisoners'. the career of Capt Walker is well documented
in the Regiment on of which he helped to edit. Being
several times badly wounded with the 2/4th Bn in the
neck by a shell 25/4/1918, MG Bullets right arm, right
leg, left thigh 8th Aug 1918. A superb group with much
research. Centre of DSO loose on the Crown side
otherwise GVF-EF (4)
