Hope & Portsmouth Dockyard. Rtd 1910 & served as
Chaplain HM Embassy Vienna from 9/1910. With

Reverend Frederick Leighton Warleigh B.A. Chaplain
RN, HMS Northumberland. Medals - Egypt Medal
dated 1882, no bar, and Khedives Star 1882. His
appointments were to Resistance, Channel Squadron
(July 1873), and Naval College (1875), next serving
aboard Wolverine, Australia Squadron (August 1876),
Northumberland (Feb 1881). He was Killed in a terrible
Cycling Accident near Sandwich while serving as
Chaplain to the Royal Marines at Walmer in 7/9/99,
being run over by a Traction Engine. EF (2)
