these from the punched in series rather than engraved,
Spink 1154var., reverse reads:- +ELFPINE ON COLE,
Colchester Mint, moneyer Elfwine, this coin being the
19th known to Sadler in his corpus in Vol. I, p.132, the
present coin is a die-duplicate of that listed in the BNJ 36,
p.76, pl.IX, 42, BEH - , peck marked, mostly on the
reverse, lightly crinkled, full, round, well centred, a scarce
mint and a very rare type, from the Eastern sea-board of
England, GF/F
