1914 Star Trio named to H B Hyde B.R.C.S. & O.

St.J.J. Henry Barry Hyde disembarked 4th Sept 1914,

serving with 2nd Belgium Unit Dresser BRCS, and later

3rd Bn Glous Regt. His medals were applied for by his

father The Vicar of Bovey Tracey, Devon. MIC notes

him as a Patient in Hospital. He is believed to have died

at Edmonton, Alberta, Canada 22/3/1926. EF (3)

file of copied research. Outstanding group. *NOTE Star

impressed BLEACHLEY instead of BLEAKLEY -

JULY 1st 1916 during the attack on Serre. No known

grave and is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial.

Sold with much copied research including details of a

raid he took part in on the night of 3/4th June 1916.
