GV Army LSGC Medal (19849 S.Sjt C E Smith RA).

MM L/G 19/11/1917, battery served with 17th HAG at

the time of award which was for Gallantry during 3rd

Ypres August September 1917. Most likely for the rescue

of Wounded/Extinguishing Fires in Gun Pits under

heavy counter Battery Fire. With 2x May Tins, superb

photo, large framed RGA motif and a Coconut barrel

1018 (Sunningdale). Award for March offensive, Battle of

St Quentin, most likely for the fighting on 21st March at

Marteville and at the line between Ellis Redoubt and
