BWM & VM Pair (MIC confirms) to 15704 L/Cpl

Edward Giddings 11th Suffolk Regiment. KIA 1st July

1916 (First Day Battle of Somme) during 34th Divisions'

attack on the village of La Boiselle. The battalion lost 182

O/Rs that day, the majority having no known grave.

Edward is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial,

was born and lived in March, Cambridgeshire. Medals
