Lockdales Auction 162 26-27 January 2019

112 2423 Seal Stamp, iron/steel 41mm: 'CONSULADO GENERAL DE LA REPUBLICA DE HONDURAS EN LONDRES' (The Honduran Embassy in London), of some age, perhaps 19thC but likely 20thC. £40 - £50 2424 Seal Stamp, iron/steel 47.5mm, with a leather base: 'SECRETARIA DE HACIENDA Y COMERCIO, REPUBLICA DE COSTA RICA' (Secretary of Finance and Commerce), of some age, perhaps 19thC but likely 20thC. £40 - £60 2425 Seal Stamp, large Indian, Mughal legal or administrative bronze seal of unknown purpose; an intricate work of caligraphy, d.129mm, with iron handle. Certainly of significant age, it looks 'of the period'. £200 - £300 2426 Seal, bronze 56mm oval: 'ACADEMIA VTINENSIS' coat of arms with horse rampant facing dexter above crown and plumes, over renaissance / German shield bearing a chevron (cannot trace origin), 18th or 19thC most likely. £40 - £50 2427 Seal, bronze 62mm: Portrait of a Raja and Maharani on horseback, with dog below. This being Indian, or perhaps from Burma, Ceylon etc. Age unknown, but clearly of some antiquity. £60 - £80 2428 Seal, bronze 69mm: The legend being slightly illegible, seems to mention 'FACULTATIS MEDICAE NANCEIANAE', being the Medical Faculty of Nancy, France. Most likely a 19th Century seal made in a medieval / gothic revival style. £40 - £60
