113 2429 Seal, double-sided swivel mounted bronze 25mm: 'N. RIZESCU, OFITER DE INTENDENTA' Romanian coat of arms. One side a seal for wax, the other an ink stamp. Comes with an original leather case, reminiscent of some kind of WWI field issue. It seems 'Intendent' translates to 'Quartermaster' in some circumstances. £40 - £60 2430 Seal, large brass 78x54x15mm pointed oval, 389g: The seal of John Richardson Selwyn, Missionary Bishop of Melanesia (Papua New Guinea, Fiji, etc) 1877, marked on the back by 'WYON, REGENT ST, LONDON', a fine piece, EF, ex. Spink & Son. Bishop J.R. Selwyn was born in Waimate North, New Zealand. £80 - £120 2431 Seal, large brownish-red carnelian intaglio 65mm featuring a classical double portrait. Appears to be two men, possibly Marc Antony and another, or a Ptolemy and wife? Mounted in white metal, with handle. Decoration is Greco-Roman(?), or otherwise reminiscent of the Middle-East or North Africa.
