F/VF, a good group of fourteen L/C Pennies of Edward
I including Bury St Edmunds, Canterbury, Durham and
London F/VF, 2x Edward I Halfpennies F, an Edward
III Penny, annulets in each quarter VF, a Halfpenny of
Henry V S.2795 VF, a Halfgroat of Henry VII clipped F,
an Elizabeth I Threepence 1562 mm. pheon slightly
buckled GF, an Elizabeth I Penny S.2558 F/VF, an
Elizabeth I Sixpence creased, 2x Elizabeth I Shillings,
one about VF but buckled and scratched, one on a large
flan, a James I Irish Sixpence poor, a Charles I Sixpence
S.2813 and one unidentified. 35 coins in all, an
interesting collection, mostly detector finds, housed in a
Lindner tray with identification labels.

1154var. with 4 extra crosses in reverse field at the end of
each arm of the central cross, these from the 'punched in'
series ie not engraved, reverse reads:- +ELFPINE ON
COLE, Colchester Mint, moneyer Elfwine, Sadler, Vol.
I, p.132, traced 4 of Colchester and a total of 18 for the
series variety this being the 19th., present piece is a die
duplicate of BNJ 36, p.76, pl.IX, 42, BEH - , peck
marked [mostly on the reverse], lightly crinkled, full,
round, well centred, a scarce mint and a very rare type
from the Eastern sea board of England GF/F

reign, a son by Julius Caesar, her love affair with Mark
