Reginald Whalley Wickham RAF. In June 1940 when
Italy entered thewar hewas detached to 33Sqdn and on
the 29th shot down a Ro 37 and a Fiat CR 32. On the
30th he destroyed a Fiat CR 42, and on the 17 August
got a Savoia SM 79. His final tally was 17, plus a DSO
andDFCwithBar.

escaped with his life when the Vulcan he was flying
