Rifle: Chinese Model 1888 Commission Mauser rifle cal
7.92. The oval stamp on the butt stock denotes Imperial
Chinese ownership. Barrel 29.5". We would guess this
rifle has history as a plaque has been removed from the
rear of the butt stock. In good working order and
condition with a D/Act cert. a/f

at Brescia in 1881. This the Vetterli -Vitali M. 1870-87
employing the Vitali magazine. Barrel 33', long rear
sight. Good walnut stock. Calibre 10.35mm. (Obsolete
calibre, no licence required). In good condition and
working order overall.

curved blade 33", unmarked and in good condition. In its
steel scabbard with 2 hanging rings. Stirrup hilt with
langets and 'ears' to backstrap. Original leather to grip
(some worn holes). A good sword in untouched
condition. Some light rusting to hilt. A 'sleeper' and
original artefact from the Napoleonic War.

sword. Blade 32.5" with Geo VI Cypher. Blade
numbered 16117 (no makers name). With bullion knot.
In its leather field service scabbard. In good overall
condition.

bow. Ribbed wood grip (couple of worn holes). Slim
blade 32" (tip rounded). Rusted and unmarked overall.
(vendor states "Found in country house attic"). No
scabbard. Plus a Spanish dagger for the tourist (?) market.
Blade marked 'COMTE MAL JUSTAS Y TORNEOS'.
Wirebound grip, three recurring quillons. No scabbard.

Heavy curved blade approx 32" (some staining but good
condition) Stirrup hilt with langets grip retaining most
leather (some wear). Back strap with 'ears'. Hilt assembly
a little loose. In its steel scabbard (VGC) engraved 'W.R'
over '4' (screws missing/replaced from throat). A good
example of this iconic sword.
