with crown and '1859' over 'TOWER'. Lock works on
both 1st and 2nd cock. Brass furniture. Pitting around

example.

Heavy steel construction. Rubber Hogue grip. Painted
black with some wear to finish. Deactivated with
certificate. Contained in its black canvas holster.

Octagonal barrel 22cms, smooth boned with brass tipped
ramrod. Chequered walnut grip (some bruising to base of
butt) silver escutcheon. Iron furniture. Nipple broken.
Lock crisp on 1st & 2nd cock. Safety catch to rear of
hammer. Lock engraved 'J. BLANCHE'. Overall a tidy
pistol. a/f

Pistol: a good English Flintlock, screw barrel pocket
pistol. Square frame engraved 'SCARLETT' to the left
panel and 'SWAFFAM' to the right panel. Gunmaker
Daniel Scarlett operated from Mangate Street, Swaffam,
Norfolk between the years 1821-1830 thus dating this
pistol to the 1820's. Boxlock action with centrally
mounted cock with safety catch. Barrel 1.5" approx bore.
Plain bag shaped walnut grip (minor crack). Clean pistol
overall. Action A/F but mainspring is good and action
engages sheath trigger.

Pistol: A good Heavy Dragoon Flintlock by Edge. Lock engraved
'Edge' and the date 1747. 'Crown' & 'GR' to lock plate. Proof marks
to barrel. Service wear overall but complete and original (ramrod
replaced at sometime past). Brass escutcheon to butt stock carbine,
bore. One of the largest pistols issued to British forces. Crisp action at
both 1st & 2nd cock. GWO & good condition.
