helmet, with original oil cloth liner and leather head pad.
Complete chin strap. Original untouched condition, well
worn with MGC badge (faint) painted to front. Liner
with some wear. Viewing recommended.

Dallas MRCS, LRCP. Born 1867, in 1889 qualified as a
Clinical Assistant at Gt Ormonds St Children's Hospital
and Obstetric Assistant at University College Hospital,
joined I.M.S. July 1891 as a Surgeon Captain. Posted to
Madras and was acting Civil Surgeon at Kurnool 1895
and Civil Surgeon in Chanda 1897, seconded to the
Tirah Field Force 1897-98, and afterwards was Civil
Surgeon again at Chanda (and Jail), transferred to the
Central provinces in 1902 and died in Bombay
