Defence Medal, War Medal, GSM QE2 with Malaya clasp (FG.OFF. C E Slater
RAF), CSM QE2 with Borneo clasp (FLT. LT. C E Slater RAF). Plus a loose QE2
RAF LSGC Medal (DIE GRATIA) (named FG. OFF. C E Slater RAF) with a cased
MBE (Mily). 1305635 Charles Edward Slater RAF was commissioned as a Master
Pilot 25th Aug 1955 L/G 1/11/1955. His DFC was L/G 5/12/1958, was awarded
the Queens Commendation for Valuable Service in the Air L/G 10/6/1961, and his
AFC was L/G 10/6/1967. Later being given the MBE (Mily) L/G 31/12/1976. Lot
includes framed Commendation Certificate, and the Royal Mint cases for the DFC
and AFC, and a miniature DFC, AFC, Defence & War Medal, Malaya and Borneo
Medals plus the Commendation. The lot also includes eight original Log Books
c1943 to 1976 and Uniform with Ribbon bar. Retired as Squadron Leader 5th
