Shell: A rare 19th century studded shell of the type used

in the Crimean War and after. Six brass studs with nickel

coating. Base marked with WD type arrowhead and 10"

heavy steel barrel with screw top. No fuse. Overall length

10" diameter of base 9cm. One stud stamped 10/73

(October 1873?) In good condition overall.

Greaves, Birmingham gun maker). Good condition.
