Militaria: A fine & rare pair of cased Italian Epaulettes

by UNIONE MILITAIRE ROMA. Each epaulette

carries an 'M' logo. Vendor states these belonged to a

member of Mussolini's personal body guard. Contained

in their fitted case. (Minor surface wear). The silver (?)

epaulettes in fine original undamaged condition.

coffey pot coaster. The emblems of the flags of the allies

and the logo 'For Right & Freedom'. An interesting item.

Military Cross with 1915 Star Trio and MID to Victory

Medal, too Lieut F S Jasper RFA (Capt F S Jasper on

Pair), MC unnamed as issued. Capt Frederick Stephens

Jasper MC was awarded for the action 25/10/1917 East

of Pollcapelle. L/G 18/1/1918 and 25/4/1918 for MC.

MIDx2 L/G 4/1/1917 and 11/12/1917. MC citation as

follows 'For Conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty.

His battery was destroyed by shell fire, all but one gun.

After being reinforced by two guns he lost another by

shell fire. For three days he attempted to make a road to

get his guns out, but was always prevented by enemy

shelling. When the enemy shelled the battery with gas

shells in attempting to save his men in the darkness, he

was himself gassed'. Lived Masons Hill, Bromley, Kent.
