Sword: A Geo V 1897 Pattern Infantry Officers

sword by Fenton Brothers Sheffield (sword cutlers to

the War Office). Blade 33" (pitted with lifting of

plating). In its steel scabbard marked '12. 12'

(December 1912?). Throat screws missing. Some

pitting. Good wirebound fishskin grip. Steel guard

(minor loss to Geo V logo). Sound condition.

of blade stamped ''M6839'' Minor rust stains to blade.

In its black leather, field service scabbard, good

wirebound fishskin grip and pierced steel bowl.

Sword. Brass stirrup hilt, langet with cannons. Lions

head pommel. Wirebound fishskin hilt. Blade 32''

ricasso marked W.K.& Co. Blade nicely etched with

artillery devices. In its steel scabbard with brass

hanging rings. This is a good sword with light wear

commensurate with eye. With leather Throddel knot.

Made''. George V cypher and Crown over ASC

engraved to blade. In its good leather field service

scabbard with leather sword frog. Leather bullion

knot. A good example of this popular WW1 Officers

Sword.

Sword: A good mid 19th Century U.S dress sword.

Blade 30'' etched with U.S eagle and stand of Arms

on one side and ''U.S'' in panel to the other side.

Wirebound fishskin grip. Folding guard with Stand of

Arms relief. U.S eagle to pommel. In its steel

scabbard with brass mounted suspension rings. A

lovely sword from The Alamo period of U.S. History,

a collectors lot.

Clamshell guard with stand of arms, guard with eagle

& flags. Double edged blade 29" with engraving. In

its steel scabbard with three suspension rings. A

quality piece in good condition. Late 19th early 20th

century.

Sword. Single edged blade with double fullers. Blade

29'' with the two squirrel logo of maker Carl

Eickhorn (1865-1976) Twist wirebound black

wooden? hilt with Phrygian pommel. In good overall

condition, in its black painted steel scabbard (some

rusting).

Sword: A Sarawak Military sword by Wilkinson of

Pall Mall. Unfullened blade with raised decoration

(some areas of pitting) Blade numbered 18377 with

letter from The Wilkinson Archive stating the sword

was made/completed on 25.4.1872 and sold to

Messrs Gundy of Bath for A.D.C. Rajah with note

regarding The White Rajah!. Wirebound fishskin

grip. Brass mounted leather scabbard (some stitching

a/f) with some further details. Interesting piece

Officers Sword. Stepped pommel, good wirebound

fishskin grip. Blade 32'' ricasso marked ''C. SMITH

12 Piccadilly, London'' Nicely etched blade with

Victorian cypher. In its steel scabbard (light pepper

pitting) two suspension rings. A good example of this

iconic sword.

blade. In its steel scabbard with two suspension rings.

Sword: An 1821 Pattern Infantry Officers Sword.

Blade engraved 'Prince of Wales Own Hussar's' and

the initials 'A.H.C' (Major A.H Cass) Major Cass

joined the regiment in India in 1851 and 1867.

(Indian Mutiny 1857) Sword by Henry Wilkinson

Pall Mall London (unnumbered). Triple bar steel hilt,

wirebound fishskin grip (handling service wear) In its

steel scabbard. Lot also includes and original 6 page

letter written from the Cavalry Camp, Balaklava,

June 17th 1855 with additions dated June 18th by

Lieut Arthur Herbert Cass. An interesting sword

with rare provenance. In good overall condition.

Double edged blade 29½''. These were private

purchase swords, design with French influence. Nice

sword.

scabbard with single hanging ring. Good condition

overall with service wear.

& Phrygian pommel. Black ebony (?) grip with twist

wire binding (binding a/f). Nicely etched blade ''In

Treue Fest''. Blade 33 1/4'' single edge with twin

fullers. In its black painted steel scabbard (some wear)

with single suspension ring. A good quality sword in

its day.
