An American Civil War Colt Army Model 1860
percussion revolver SN-66992 for 1862. Frame marked
'COLTS PATENT'. Barrel 8", top flat marked 'Address
Col.saml COLT. U.S. America' U.S. sub inspectors
marks. Good original walnut grips (tiny chips to toes).
Rebated cylinder. In good overall condition, dark patina
to metal parts. Matching numbers bar cylinder (4379)
and backstrap (114379) from another pistol made in
1863. The serial number 66.992 indicates issue to the 2nd
West Virginia Volunteer Cavalry ? The Springfield
Research Service who note .66993, 66994 and 66995 all
to that unit (also 66955). A good and interesting
American Civil War Revolver. A 'sleeper'. no licence
required for this historic gun.

MKIII SMLE action. Barrel 9". Cal. 303. With
buttstock, magazine cut-off, bolt magazine. An
interesting piece with deactivated certificate.

An Austrian WERNDL Service rifle. Model 1867/77.
Cal. 11mm. Rotating drum action, barrel 32", two barrel
bands and bayonet bar to the barrel. These rifles were
used in early WW1 Battles on the Eastern Front and by
reverse troops. Obsolete calibre 11mm, no licence
required, sound good condition, repair to stock. Butt tang
marked '26th R-' (26th Regt) and '14.10' (October 1914).
A decent example of a 'sleeper'. Good working order.

signal pistol. Issue marks for 1915 and WD arrow.
Framed marked 'Webley & Scott Ltd London &
Birmingham'. The frame on the right hand side has been
struck by a bullet which has gone through the left hand
side breaking the top off. There is no right hand grip
which was destroyed by the bullet strike. A museum
piece! Deactivated with certificate. Action a/f.

picked out in gold on the centre rib of the twin. 5.25"
barrels. Reverse sliding breech with integral ejector (cock

Double triggers. Gutta Percha grips and lanyard ring. A
fine pistol in its day & mechanically interesting . D/Act

at Liege, Belgium by Leopold Collette. Spurless hammer.
Engraved frame and cylinder. Belgian proofs. Calibre
6.5mm. Side ejector rod. Sidegate loading, folding
trigger, ebony grips. Action a/f (mainspring a simple
repair). A lovely revolver. Viewing recommended. No
licence required. *Note the mainspring and missing parts
of the action are included in the lot.

An unmarked long pattern type flintlock pistol probably
for Sea Service. Swan neck cock (crisp on 1st & 2nd cock
but trigger does release the cock unless pulled right back).
Round barrel 12". Brass tipped wooden rammer. Good
walnut stock brass furniture. Skull crusher buttcap.
Recurved trigger. Traces of British proof marks to barrel.
Approx 17 bore (.66 inch). A nice untouched example in
worn but original untouched condition.
