.303 Martini Rifle dated 1896 with rack number 798 to

ricasso. WD marked in good overall condition. Scabbard

leather and stitching good.

Martini-Henry Rifle. Blade dated Oct/1888. In its steel

mounted leather scabbard (locket with Farsi markings).

volunteers. Light rusting. Excellent grips. 2) Pattern 1913

bayonet by Remington dated 3.17 with P'07 grips. Both

without scabbards. Generally sound and good condition.

Carbine marked 'A.C.1' dated 1897. Sold out of service

mark & 'C.G.' for Cape Government. Originally a MKIII

M-Henry. Butt marker disc to a rifle volunteer unit

'C.N.R.V'. Ladder of rear sight missing. In good working

order & sound original condition.

Mixed lot: A cane sword stick overall length 34.5", square

section blade 18.5". Victorian era with brass ferrule. An

ebony swagger stick with white metal badge in the form

of a Maltese Cross surmounted by a Crown and

'T.C.B.C' & L', A modern carved walking stick. All three

in sound & better condition. (3)

Muskets: two mid 19th century percussion muskets both

lacking their locks & hammers. A restoration project for

those winter evenings. (2)

Musket: A scarce Prussian Model 1809 percussion

conversion from flintlock circa 1839-45. Sharp tailed

lockplate. Iron mounts, barrel bands secured by spring

clips. Fore-end band encloses front sight. Large heavy

hammer. Steel S plate. Lacks ramrod. Butt with letters

'C.T.' Barrel with rack number 168. This musket typical

of those supplied to the U.S. & CSA in the early part of

the American Civil War. In very good crisp working

order on 1st & 2nd cock. In decent overall condition.

smooth bore musket barrel 38" marked 'BRADLEY'.

Lock marked 'Crown' over 'V.R.' and '1864' over

'TOWER'. Lock crisp on 1st & 2nd cock. Worn overall

but in sound original condition. Simple V sight. Martini

Henry ramrod.

Musket: An outstanding replica of a Brown Bess Musket. One of a limited edition of 100 and numbered 'No. 008'. The musket was produced

as a limited edition in 1975 to commemorate the first shots being fired in the American Revolution April 19th 1775 at Lexington Green,

Massachusetts. Polished steel barrel with PoW Feathers etched to breech section & 1775-1975 in a scroll. Case hardened lock and cock

engraved 'No 008'. Handrail walnut fullstock with raised apron. Hallmarked silver mounts including: 'S' plate, buttplate, ramrod pipes and

trigger guard. Steel ramrod. The whole piece made to the highest specifications as follows: Silver mounts- approx 2lbs of silver used all silver

components hallmarked. Barrel 46" Calibre .75". Stock made from selected English walnut. Copied lock from the Long Island Pattern. An

original booklet accompanies the musket. The original cost of this musket was £1600 in 1975. A collectors grade lot in outstanding condition

and a rare limited edition complete with a Proof House certificate of deactivation. V.G.W.O & condition.
