Brass stirrup hilt with wirebound, fishskin grip (g.c). Plain

single edged, double fullered blade 29". No scabbard.

Sword: An 1827 Pattern Rifle Officers sword by Henry

Wilkinson Pall Mall, London. Top of blade numbered

'10716' (Number shows year of manufacture as 1860)

Etched blade with Victorian Crown and '8th L.R.V.' (8th

Lancashire Rifle Volunteers) Panel on blade etched with

owners name 'W. HARPER'. Blade 32.5", steel hilt with

strung bugle device, wirebound fishskin hilt (handling

wear). In its steel mounted leather scabbard. Note *

William Harper's career through the Gazettes is sold with

the sword.

Sword: an 18th century Hunting Hanger. Two bar guard

marked 'KOHL' (sword maker Stultgart from 1793). Steel

guard with quillon with Acorn finial. Staghorn grip.

Lovely engraving to blade of Stag's head, musket and

hunting swords. Fullered blade 24" with spear point,

broad fuller with narrow channel above. This is a lovely

sword circa 1800. No scabbard. Some staining to blade.

Viewing recommended.

Sword: An Austro - Hungarian Officers sword. Pipe back

blade 34". Austrian Double Headed Eagle & 'Viribus

Unitus' (Motto of Franz Joseph 1st of Austria). Triple bar

iron hilt, wirebound fishskin grip in its steel scabbard.

Lightly rusted overall.

sword by Henry Wilkinson Pall Mall London. Etched

blade 32" with serial number 41538 (for 1907). Complete

with its leather field service scabbard. Good condition

overall.

Fullered blade 33" with VR Crown & Rifle Officers

strung bugle (Rifle Volunteers?) Top of blade numbered

'24205' for 1881. 1854/Patt Gothic Brass hilt with non

folding guard. In its steel scabbard. Areas of light pitting

(largely to scabbard). Grip wirebound fishskin (latter

worn). Sound condition overall, researchable and will

improve with cleaning.

edged blade 32". Brass stirrup hilt with ball/bun pommel.

Brass fixed shell guard. Forward quillon broken off at the

cross guard. Felt/carpet type grip. Blade decorated with

stand of arms. R.H. side with double headed eagle &

crown lacks scabbard. Twin narrow fullers to top of

blade. Blade tip rounded. Viewing recommended. A

scarce lot. a/f

Masonic court sword blade 30" etched 'Spencer & Co' in

its brass mounted scabbard. Cross guard removed to fit in
