II 1917, 37 (Made at Cossipore for Indian Government
in 1917). In good clean condition overall. Note copies of
this Kukri made in India post WW1. Sold as seen

edged with 3 fullers. Oval armourers mark to ricasso &
Indian script to blade. Steel hilt with disc pommel. A good
example. No scabbard.

Japanese 'WAKISASHI' which is accompanied by the
following note from the vendor: 'Type of sword - a HAN-
DACHI WAKIZASHI. The blade signed NORIMITSU
* A sword smith of the Oyei Bizen School, working
around 1450. The son of Morisuke of BIZEN
PROVINCE. Both worked at Osafune, a village of sword
smiths. NORIMITSU also signed his work 'BISHU
OSAFUNE NORIMITSU SAKU (translated means
'made by Norimitsu, living in Osafune, Bizen Province'.
