Birmingham proof & view. Fixed rear sight. Full walnut stock. Action crisp on 1st and 2nd cock. These muskets most likely for export (probably India). This is a fine example made from best materials. £350 - £400 934 Japanese NCO's Katana WW2 era, blade and scabbard with matching number, with Koishikawa arsenal control stamp. For use on the Lancaster Rifle and when discontinued in favour of the Martini Henry Rifle they were shortened and re issued as bandsman's swords.
