11/11/1898 to 31/5/1902 and WW1 from 27/1/1915.

CHURCHILL's Stepfather. Medal engraved Lieut G.
Cornallis-West Scots Guards. He married Lady
Randolph Churchill 28/7/1900 (being many years her
junior) he was about the same age as Winston. Served in
1914 as Lieut-Col in the RND, Committed Suicide 1951.
Note: medal is officially renamed in the correct Officers
style.
