halfcrown, obverse:- Jewelled crown 12 and 11 pearls
either side of orb and extra pearls along the headband of
crown [6], OBS NEWARK 16[45], although worn on
last two digits the last is probably a '5', Spink 3140,

ninepence, obverse:- Jewelled crown, 11/9 pearls to left
and right of orb [although this not visible],
1645, same dies as Brooker 1226, same
reverse die as 1221 [2/6d.], trace of decoration under
reverse design?, reverse struck a little low, holed at top,

1646, same dies as Brooker 1255, same
reverse die as 1222 [halfcrown] and 1227 [ninepence],
Spink 3143, reverse slightly off centre, holed at 12
o'clock, VF/F £700 - £800

[1625-1642], mm. star [1640-1641], Group IV, fourth
horseman, Type 4, reverse:- Oval garnished shield, Spink
2779, Ex. Bedale Hoard, 2009, typical angular flan but of
good weight 15.48g., obverse horse weak, rest GF £80 - £100

3a, no inner circles, reverse:- Round garnished shield, no
CR, Spink 2791, full, round, well centred, even strike,

slightly irregular flan, a well centred even strike,

with inner circles, oval garnished shield with CR, Spink
