in exergue VICT BRIT, Victory seated on pile of shields,

about to inscribed further shield set on knee, Sear 5826,

this piece commemorates the defeat of a Northern

barbarian invasion in Britain, untouched, with infill,

clear NVF

modus on garlanded altar between them, stern of ship in

2760, a nice example of this interesting issue, a little light

surface pitting but VF
