O'Leary. BEM L/G 29/1/1943 Burma Evacuation,
Assistant Foreman, Burma Railways. 'Mr O'Leary
remained at his post at Toungoo until the town was
evacuated. During many Air Raids he displayed
outstanding coolness and efficiency, on one occasion
entering a smouldering railway wagon to check the
